I can see clearly now

I like clean windows as much as everybody else, but not if the soap goes into our water. Here’s an example - a local business hired a company to wash their windows. The company did a great job cleaning the windows and the awnings, but they used lots of soapy water that sloshed out of their buckets, down the sidewalk and street gutter, and into a nearby catch basin, or storm drain. So what? From the storm drain, this soap is routed in underground pipes to Bellingham dumping this soap here isn't any different than dumping it right into the bay or a nearby creek.

Where does the soap from this operation end up? It comes out of this pipe, in our bay. Don't forget...if it's on the ground, it's in our water.
